This is a little post to tell you about a very cool new event starting on the 5th August at Slink West, the shopping district catering exclusively to Slink addons and appliers.

The event is called My Slink Obsession and is organised by Sanura Snowpaw of Somnia  and Lexi Morgan of Stellar .

These 2 talented ladies approached me a couple of months ago with their idea to run an event focused on applier and add-on products for Slink body parts, and I offered to host it at Slink West!  It’s going to be a lovely open air market, situated in the main square.

The first My Slink Obsession features 20 wonderful creators who are all making gorgeous designs for your Slink Avatar Enhancement body parts!  You can find the list at the My Slink Obsession Blog

While you are at Slink West, wander around and explore the lovely village, check out some of the many stores already there, and hang out in the vineyard, perfect for photographs!

The Sugar Garden has Cute and Sexy all wrapped up in a bow. A selection of footwear and skin appliers that are just part of the wonderful range the store has to offer for those wanting to add something special to their day. Features added to many of the items, such as these shoes with strap and heel options for solid or clear.  Teaming them up with Avi Candy,  these Seduction stockings work with the Slink Physique Mesh body only, and come with little bow attachments for the ankle. There is a large range of Stockings, Lingerie and other Slink compatible items available.

One Bad Pixel has been moved into the Slink Mainstore, so for those that have one or more bad pixels that need some sexy clothing, come and try this range of mesh clothing. The range is in Standard Sizing, but may work with the Slink Physique Body depending on fit, Demos are available.

* When using stockings or tattoo appliers on Slink products, please make sure you turn on the layers needed for them to be visible. Hands and Feet include the Slink AvEnhance Utilities Hud that you wear to turn layers on, and the Physique body uses the Slink Physique Alpha and Clothing Layers HUD

Todays feature are three very talented creators, two of them have been creating in Second Life for many years. Adam n Eve is 8 years old, and Stellar is 10 years young. Both creators have items at the current My Slink Obsession, that is at the Slink West sim until November 22nd. A monthly event that has new items at 50% OFF.

Adam n Eve chose this event to launch their new skin Charli, with an updated HUD system, and the introduction of hair bases for the Visage head. There is the base skin, with 7 eyeshadow and lipstick options that are interchangeable with the other facial features, Glow, Freckles, Moles and Blush. The body appliers also have three breast options, dehanced, regular and cleavage. Adam n Eve has been a Slink add on creator since the beginning, and the range keeps growing with each additional release.

A great way to show the skin was with the lingerie by Stellar, also a My Slink Obsession release. Stellar has items in almost every category of Slink Compatible items, from socks to jewellery and more. Lexi Morgan is also a Co-Organiser of My Slink Obsession with Sanura Snowpaw, you can find information about the event on their website.

The mid height pumps are by L.Warwick Handmade shoes, and their collection of Slink compatible shoes grows every week, with a range of items for all the heights of feet, flat, mid and high. Great texture work that is enhanced with materials but not needed to enjoy the detailing.

That time where people hang up pretty bits of foil, flashing lights and shiny baubles, that time that we spend -hopefully- not bickering with loved ones about politics, exchanging gifts and eating far, far too much rich food!  This time of year also means parties, parties and more parties! After around 5 months of work and a lot of hair-pulling, we are finally excited to release the Avatar Enhancement, Physique and Visage Versions 2 in the Slink Mainstore. Deetalez has been creating such unique faces for the Slink Visage heads, and their latest offering is at Skin Fair. Using the interchangable hud options, you get a lot of looks with your Deetalez skin options.

Blueberry has been creating mesh content with the physique body fit options. Each product such as this sweater come with standard sizes and a slink version included, that is fitted mesh and will change shape as you do.

DE Designs has been creating appliers content, and additionally mesh creations such as the pants in todays post. Giving you lots of options of wear, and colour variations.

N-Core has been a long standing footwear creator, and is now offering her latest releases with a Slink compatible version included. We are looking forward to more shoes by this talented creator.

Slink mainstore recently added a Subscriber. Now you can save group space, and have information readily available. For joining the subsciber, there is a Gift of the Illona flats in Burgundy. The shoes are a full release in other colours in the store. You will need the Flat feet to be able to wear them.

FashionNatic has been creating full looks with Slink products for a long time now, and this dress is one of their latest. It comes with a full hud for incredible mixing and matching of colours and fabric choices.

Using the Cinnamon skin that comes with the Slink Physique body, I added some make up from both AlaskaMetro and Elymode stores. You will find a great assortment of lipsticks, nail polishes, eyeshadows and more, when looking in these great stores.

Finally after many months of development I am very pleased to announce much anticipated release of the Slink Physique Male Mesh Body! Now Available in the Slink Mainstore Mens Department!

This body has been a lot of hard work and time, but I think it has been worth it. Please try on the demo before you buy!!

Some important things to note:

With this body I have introduced Omega support. This means you will need to purchase the Slink activator from the Love -n- Lust Designs marketplace store and use it with your Physique body and your Omega HUD.

This body includes a tinting HUD so you can match your favourite skin should it not have appliers.

I have also updated the mens hands and feet to include Omega support. If you wish to use Omega appliers, please go get the update from the redelivery terminal in the Slink Mainstore.

The female body, hands, feet and head will be updated with tinting and Omega support as soon as possible!!

I’ve had the idea for these for a little while and decided it was time to finish and release them. It’s still cool enough in Australia that looking at boots with long socks doesn’t make me want to jump into a cold bath, and it’s getting cool enough in other parts in the world to start thinking about warmer gear!

We have exciting things to announce.

Slink West Sim has been remodeled, giving us more space, and you a better opportunity to enjoy not only the stores, but the location as a destination to enjoy spending time at. It is located directly opposite the Slink  Mainstore, and even includes a Slink store so that you do not have to travel back and forth if in need of updates, re-deliveries etc.

We have some new tenants and older tenants in the new build, and we hope you will enjoy all of them.

We would like to thank Whimsy Winx for all of her landscaping and layout work on the complete remodel of the Sim. She has made the sim an incredible photo opportunity for those looking to take some great pictures of Slink compatible products, or just have fun on location. Check out her themed vignettes scattered around the builds.

We have opened Slink West Group Chat! it was always our intention to have it possible to chat about Slink/Compatible items in a fun and jovial setting. Today I am releasing the newest sets of feet in the Slink Female Avatar Enhancement range.

These new feet are Kitten, for all your vintage needs, and Pointe for the dancers among us.

WHY NOW?􀀂

The last time Slink released feet was nearly 3 years ago, with the release of the High style at Shoetopia. For a long time, the feet have only been available as 3 separate purchases, due to the fact that they were released at very different times.

WHY THESE 2 STYLES?

I have had many requests for both of these styles over the last few years. Slink customers wanted a set of feet that was a height between the Flat and the Mid feet, and I’ve often been asked for the Pointe feet for dancers, roleplayers, and photography.

WHAT IS THE DELUXE PACK?

In the new DELUXE PACK, we have combined all 5 sets of feet (3 original and 2 new) into one attachment, and created a HUD for easy selection of the feet style that you need with the click of a button. You can mix and match, and turn them off as needed!

The Deluxe Pack is not an update, it is a new product, available now for the first time.

WHAT ABOUT THOSE THAT ALREADY OWN FEET?􀀃

We want everyone who already owns one or more pairs of the single feet to be rewarded for their support, but unfortunately our technology doesn’t realistically allow us to extend a loyalty discount exclusively to current feet owners…

So, we have decided to release the single Kitten and Pointe feet at the usual price of $675L each, but for the first 2 weeks after release (3rd April to 16th April) the Deluxe Pack of all 5 feet with improved HUD will be priced at just $1350L, which is equal to just 2 of the single feet! Think of it as buying the Pointe and Kitten styles, and getting the original 3 styles and the very cool Deluxe HUD features as a bonus!

After the special offer period, the price of the pack will be increased. This pack will never be this price again, so get in and get it while it’s hot!!

What else is in this update?

• All of the female feet have been updated to have a seamless join with the Female Physique original and Hourglass bodies.

• There is now a built in ankle lock in the Utilities HUD, so no one has any excuse for broken ankles!!
• The Hands and Feet Utilities HUD has been made over, hands and feet are now on separate tabs for ease of use, and there is a handy infographic included.

• There is now a PHYS button on the hands and feet tabs, which will activate the ankle and wrist best suited for your Physique Original and Hourglass bodies.
• Because of this, both of the bodies also needed to be updated at the same time. You will find them in the re-delivery terminal. If you want truly seamless ankles, you must update your Physique body.

• All of the (female) hands, feet and bodies have had a very small update to the latest Omega Script.

• The Ballet Slipper style Margot has had a little facelift, and now works with all 5 styles of feet! Margot cleverly listens to the Deluxe feet HUD, to change when you change your feet, and there is also a Mini HUD available for those with single feet, that allows you to match your Margot to your style of feet with the click of a button! It’s pretty cool If you previously bought Margot, you will find the update in the redelivery terminal!

Slink Claw Nails have been updated to be an all in one add on for all Slink Female feet. Claw Nails & Pawpads are avatar enhanced so that you can use your Slink or Omega nail huds to choose your own polished look.

This is an add on item, you must have Slink avatar enhanced feet singles or deluxe to be able to wear them.

If you have a previous version of the female claw nails you can update them free to the new system. Contact Slink Resident for updates.

I am happy to announce the release of the first of Slink mesh body parts for the updated SL Skeleton (Project Bento) which allows for nice and realistic animations for hands and faces.

About the Dynamic Hands

This release is for the girls! (guys, yours are coming soon, promise!) The new Slink Dynamic hands are now available for purchase in the Slink Mainstore!!

BUT – the great news for people who already own the Slink Avatar Enhancement Mesh Hands, these are an UPDATE!! Details about the update are below.

These hands are made to be similar to the popular Avatar Enhancement static pose hands, but with the added benefit of being able to animate them! They work with all of your Slink and Omega skin, clothing and nail appliers, and they now respond to the glossy, environment and mask sliders on the Physique body Utilities HUD.

The Stiletto nails option is now its own addon (included with the hands!). This lets me offer 3 different nail lengths for that style as well as the original.

The nicest thing about animated hands is that they will work with animations from Slink, or anyone who makes animations for the updated skeleton. You will need an updated viewer to see these hands properly.

Update details – or who gets what?

• If you previously purchased the Multipack of the Slink Avatar Enhancement female mesh hands, you will receive the new Dynamic Hands, the included idle animations, which give your hands a subtle lifelike movement, the Stiletto Nails addon and HUD, and the complete pose HUD shown below, containing the 15 poses from the original AvEnhance hands.

• If you purchased the smaller packs 1, 2 or 3, you will receive the hands, the Stiletto Nails addon and HUD, the idle animations and a pose HUD loaded with the 5 poses from the pack you already own.

• If you purchased one or more of the single hand sets, you will receive the Dynamic hands, the Stiletto Nails addon and HUD, and a pose HUD loaded with the single poses from the pack you already own. You will be able to purchase the idle animations separately in the store. If you purchased more than one base static pose previously, you will be able to add the extra poses to one single copy of the pose HUD. Instructions for doing this are in the pack  You will also be able to purchase the full static pose HUD in the Slink store!

You can now go to Slink, hit up the redelivery terminal and get your updated hands by simply requesting another copy of your hands purchases.

Hello all! This month I have 3 new releases, exclusive to 2 different events that are going on at the moment!

I was invited by Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice to be her guest this month for the UBER 3rd birthday celebration! She was very sweet and kind to think of me, and give me this opportunity, so of course I jumped at it!

I created these extreme ballet style heels for the event, and you can find them at UBER. They are something I have wanted to create for a very long time, and I am very happy with how they have turned out!

They come in 8 colours and a multipack, and have a subtle bump and specular map to give a realistic shine and texture to the surface of the leather. Available now at UBER.

Mesh Body Addicts fair is the other big news of August, and I am very happy to be a sponsor at this big event! I have created the exclusive Gina shift dress for this event, and a brand new set of sheen body appliers for the Slink Physique bodies!

Gina is a sexy body-con shift dress in 8 colours that match the Siren stiletto heels available in the Slink shoe department. She includes both Physique Original, and Physique Hourglass sizes, and is equipped with an Auto Alpha configuration, so all you need to do is wear it!

The Body Sheen and Detail applier provides body detailing in a subtle bumpmap, and 3 different levels of sheen, from very light, to very heavy. The gloss level and tint of the sheen can be customised through your Physique HUD, on the Effects tab. This applier applies the effects to the Physique female bodies, Slink hands and feet, and Visage heads, (the heads are still to be updated, so the gloss and tint does not currently affect them)
